Your Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team based in Sydney central. As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for driving the growth of our Pharmacy and Healthcare Provider channel business to assigned accounts. This is a key territory for our business, managing Sydney metro and Eastern suburbs, with everyday offering new and exciting challenges.
With a strong background in sales, customer service, and account management, you'll call on assigned customers to promote and sell market-leading medical products through consultative selling and strategic negotiation. You'll also be heavily involved in customer product demonstrations and regular information and training sessions.
Your role:
- Map the SRC product & solutions market opportunity with assigned accounts, identifying key resellers, leading physicians, key purchasing bodies, key decision makers, and key clinicians. Then, prioritise to develop specific sales actions plans to help customers achieve clinical/commercial outcomes and grow our sales.
- Partner up with the Clinical Sales team to achieve key growth & revenue-generating activities.
- Make sales calls, ask for orders, work with customers to expand business opportunities, ensure products are properly presented, and that customers are aware of product changes, new releases, etc.
- Work with Product Managers on pricing, quotes, shipping, resolving order problems, etc., as required.
- Regularly call on all assigned customers to promote and sell assigned products through consultative selling and strategic negotiation.
- Drive brand preference for assigned sleep products, solutions, and accessories through increased face time and visibility with key sleep stakeholders.
- Participate in Local/Australia trade shows, conventions, and exhibitions promoting the sleep product portfolio as required.
- Cultivate new and existing pharmacy businesses that have commenced PPS Professional Service, including regular store visits, training, and sales support.
- Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner.
You're the right fit if:
- You have at least 2+ years of working knowledge of Sales Process, Account Management, and Consultative Selling.
- Clinical or paramedical background in Respiratory/Sleep Medicine is ideal or experience within medical devices sales.
- Possess a clinical/Science background/education with the ability to absorb clinical and technical information.
- Great Interpersonal skills and ability to manage different customer bases.
- An ability to create and capitalise on opportunities.
- Your business acumen will assist in managing time/priorities as well as analysing and interpreting reports – sales revenue/customer/product and Medicare statistics.
