About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to join our team at Recruitment Holdings Ltd. as a Design Engineer - Industrial Products. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new designs, taking them from conception through to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop cutting-edge products, adhering to our company's design language and principles.
  • Oversee the entire product journey, from concept to launch, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, manufacturers, and suppliers to bring designs to life.
  • Manage technical aspects, ensuring feasibility and design integrity throughout the product development process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and CAD models.
  • Present design concepts and solutions through modeling, rendering, and prototyping.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial design, preferably in Defence, Medical, Aerospace, or Consumer Electronics industries.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Keyshot.
  • Strong ideation, sketching, and product rendering skills.
  • Knowledge of complex surface modeling and design for manufacture.
  • Excellent task and time management skills.
  • Australian citizenship preferred for security clearance requirements.
