Job Title: Investment Banking Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our team in Sydney. As an Investment Banking Associate, you will be responsible for participating in the origination and execution of M&A and debt financing mandates with a focus on Consumer, Retail, Healthcare and General Industrials sectors.

About the Role:
  • Participate in the origination and execution of M&A and debt financing mandates
  • Deal team member contributing to day-to-day M&A execution processes
  • Prepare high quality marketing presentations and industry analysis
  • Attend client meetings including execution and pitches
  • Support senior banker account coverage and idea generation
  • Train and mentor juniors to support the development of best-in-class investment banking skill-sets

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years experience in Investment Banking (M&A) ideally within GI or CRH, but other sector experience may be considered
  • Outstanding academic achievement
  • Strong financial modelling skills and commercial acumen are critical
  • Detail oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask
  • Ability to take initiative with strong critical thinking skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
