About the Role

We are seeking a motivated waste management professional with leadership qualities to join our Resource Recovery team. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic leadership, coordination, and technical expertise to ensure the successful achievement of operational, legislative, and corporate objectives for our resource recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver quality waste management operations and projects consistent with our vision and the objectives of our Waste Management Strategy.
  • Develop and mentor staff to perform and promote a positive work environment.
  • Consult and negotiate with relevant stakeholders on complex matters through effective written and verbal communication.
  • Review, coordinate, and deliver successful waste management programs.
  • Apply environmental management and engineering techniques associated with landfill and transfer stations.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in waste management, engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated sound experience in waste management and leadership roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to consult and negotiate with stakeholders.
What We Offer
  • An annual salary range of $95,300 to $109,300 (plus 11.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience, and qualifications.
