About the Role

DoorDash Technologies Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Human Resources to join our People team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in building our business in Australia and shaping the global operating model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a suite of People team programs, resources, and coaching to enable market-level growth and success.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to build our people strategy and drive business outcomes.
  • Deliver day-to-day HR support, ensuring compliance with best practices and local employment law.
  • Develop and execute employee relations efforts, including planning and coaching executives and managers on best practices.
  • Lead business groups through DoorDash's people programs, including engagement surveys, performance reviews, compensation reviews, talent development, and more.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in an HR Business Partner, Organizational Effectiveness, or Talent Development role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance culture where the business is constantly evolving.
  • Strong knowledge of local employment law.
  • Ability to think critically and anticipate issues before they arise, and proactively suggest long-term solutions.
  • Excellent judgment and the ability to make sound decisions independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Owner mentality and a bias towards action.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills.
