Delivering exceptional support to adults with disabilities requires a unique blend of compassion, patience, and expertise. As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with diverse needs.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering personalised support in a group home setting, ensuring that each individual's physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

  • Providing assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Supporting clients to engage in their community, promoting independence and autonomy
  • Maintaining accurate records of client progress and providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum) and ability to travel locally across the Northern Beaches are also essential requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be available for a minimum of 3 days a week, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours. However, we encourage candidates who are willing to commit to more hours to apply, as there are opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
