Diesel Fitter Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on industry-leading equipment and take on challenging, rewarding work in a high-quality environment.

Job Description:

This role will involve working on various rosters to suit different schedules. You will be responsible for ensuring that all diesel engines are properly maintained and repaired. This will involve diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance tasks.

  • Work on a variety of diesel engines and equipment including trucks, dozers, graders, excavators, and drills.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Diesel Fitting or equivalent qualification.
  • Coal Board Medical certification.
  • Standard 11 Statement of Attainment.
  • Proven experience working with diesel engines and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
