Job Title: Radiation Therapist

The ideal candidate will have strong technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy, including treatment, simulation and planning. Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques is essential.

We are seeking a skilled professional who can deliver efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for personally undertaking radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
  • Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
  • Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level.
  • Experience with Monaco Treatment Planning System.
  • Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
  • Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
  • Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy).
  • Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
