Medical Manager

AbbVie is seeking a highly skilled Medical Manager to join our team. As a Medical Manager, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of the medical plan in delivery of aligned business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Support internal company cross-functional stakeholders to gain alignment on critical success factors, including regulatory and payer submissions, policy and industry trends, and technical training needs.
- Provide medical functional contributions to launch planning, clinical studies, and global medical affairs strategic plans.
- Identify and engage key external experts, operating as the scientific interface to healthcare professionals, institutions, and government bodies.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic products and relevant therapeutic areas.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with key thought leaders and external experts.
- Screen relevant literature and develop summaries of key messages for use within the company.
- Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals.
- Design and implement diagnostic research projects within defined standards and budgets.
- Provide medical/scientific input into marketing strategy and key commercial initiatives.
- Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other Bachelor degree in a scientific discipline or higher.
- Background in haematology/oncology, medical affairs, or a related field, with experience in working closely with the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of evidence development, including regulatory and payer needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
