Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead strategic engagement with major players in the mining sector.

This role is critical in driving early engagement, influencing specifications, and securing major project wins aligned with our growth strategy.

Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with senior executives to position us as the preferred automation and digital partner.
  2. Lead early engagement efforts to influence project specifications and identify high-value opportunities.
  3. Develop and execute a win strategy for major pursuits, articulating a compelling value proposition tailored to our clients' goals.
  4. Track and maintain a pipeline of major project opportunities, ensuring regular updates and visibility across stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with global teams to assemble the right resources for each pursuit.
  6. Drive adoption of our full portfolio, including control systems, digital solutions, and lifecycle services.
  7. Position us as the lowest-risk, highest-value supplier through tailored solutions that deliver measurable economic value.
  8. Develop a sales strategy and execution plan for each qualified opportunity.
  9. Build deep relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business drivers and aligning our offerings accordingly.
  10. Provide an annual engagement plan with local and global teams.
  11. Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies relevant to the mining landscape.
