Job Title: Health Service Governance Leaders

We are seeking experienced individuals to join our Hospital and Health Board as Chairs and members.

About the Role

The successful candidates will play a vital leadership role in their local community, ensuring healthcare services are efficient, effective and responsive to community needs.

Hospital and Health Boards govern the delivery of healthcare across 16 regions. Board Chairs and members must perform functions in accordance with the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Board
  • Maintain strong governance expertise and hold the Board and Health Service Chief Executive accountable for meeting financial, service delivery, and legislative requirements
  • Develop and implement policies that support quality healthcare services
  • Foster collaborative partnerships with local communities and stakeholders
Requirements
