We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Collar Group, providing exceptional care to residents in our Residential Aged Care facilities in New South Wales.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality personal care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Assist Registered Nurses with vital sign documentation, medication administration, and resident assessments.
- Support residents with meal consumption and monitor their nutrition.
- Implement infection control and prevention measures to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide palliative care, restorative care, and pain management services.
- Liaise with residents' families, doctors, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements for Success:
- Certification in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent.
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations and annual flu shot.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- At least six months of full-time experience in Aged Care as a Personal Care Worker in Australia.
- Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
