Strategic HR Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a senior HR leader to join our team on a 5-9 month contract with strong extension or permanency potential. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a strategic, people-focused role delivering real impact.

About the Role

As a trusted advisor to our leadership team, you will lead the delivery of our people strategy, shaping and executing plans that directly support business objectives. You will head up a dedicated team to deliver strategic initiatives across the employee lifecycle - from workforce planning and organisational design to talent, culture, and complex employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a commercially-minded advisor to senior leaders, providing solutions-focused people advice.
  • Lead organisational design and change initiatives aligned to business strategy.
  • Drive strategic workforce planning to anticipate and address future skill needs.
  • Partner with colleagues to design and deliver initiatives that strengthen culture, capability, and the Employee Value Proposition.
  • Oversee complex ER/IR matters, investigations, and dispute resolution.
  • Use data insights to inform decision-making and measure the impact of people initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience as a senior HR business partner or people leader in a complex environment.
  • Proven expertise in organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, and culture change.
  • Strong ER/IR knowledge with experience managing complex cases.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially astute, data-driven, and confident operating at executive level.
