Pastoral Care Practitioner Role
As a Pastoral Care Practitioner, you will provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, residents, and staff.
This casual position offers the possibility of becoming permanent part-time and operates across all campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, person-centered spiritual and emotional care.
- Collaborate with health professionals to establish clear and measurable goals.
- Undertake spiritual assessment and planning, delivering, documenting, and monitoring interventions for patients with complex needs.
- Reflect with patients on their experience and evaluate whether interventions have met their spiritual needs.
Requirements:
- Completed Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
- Experience in clinical pastoral practice areas.
- Passion for providing excellent, holistic, and person-centered pastoral care in a multi-faith setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
- Intermediate computer skills and competence in documentation and reporting requirements.
