Job Description

This role is a key position within our depot, requiring a dedicated and experienced individual to manage the day-to-day operation. The primary responsibilities will include coordinating the heavy ridge fleet, escalating issues, and serving as the main point of contact for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the local Ridge fleet ensuring smooth coordination.
  • Schedule and monitor fleet movements for safe, reliable, and cost-effective freight distribution.
  • Support loading and unloading activities alongside the team to maintain workflow and timelines.
  • Perform administrative tasks including handling operational errors and correcting discrepancies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers ensuring clear communication and timely responses.
  • Implement operational improvements as directed by the Branch Operations Manager to boost efficiency and productivity.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Previous experience in a similar position with desirable transport and logistics experience.
  • Knowledge of TMS Systems is beneficial.
  • Understanding of tracking and processing systems as well as scheduling and maintaining accurate records.
