Job Description

The City of Port Adelaide and Enfield is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Activation and Events Coordinator to join our Placemaking & Activation team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver placemaking and activation projects and initiatives, including large-scale events and activations.
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to increase the professionalism and delivery of events across Council teams and the community.
  • Prepare contracts, agreements, permits, and reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a senior events/activation role.
  • Innovative thinking and courage to try new ideas.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders to deliver projects and programs with creative and strategic outcomes.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people and build strong relationships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the changing landscape of festivals and events, including trends, participation, and funding arrangements.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to work in a team environment, and enjoy a multi-faceted role.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that build good working relationships.
  • Passionate about making a genuine difference to the community.
