About the Role:

  • Possess extensive knowledge of food safety protocols and adhere to industry standards when preparing and cooking food.
  • Work effectively under pressure as part of a cohesive team, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement menu items through the use of specials, ensuring creativity and appeal to diverse palates.
  • Support colleagues in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation, promoting a clean and sanitized workstation environment.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by following kitchen standard operating procedures, including receiving and storage of produce and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' industry experience in high-end dining settings.
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent qualification.
  • Australian work rights, with no restrictions, and Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or relevant work visa.
