Clinical Nurse Specialist Role

Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Consultant position at our facility is a key role in providing high-quality patient care and leadership in clinical practice.

Our team is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services, and we are seeking an experienced nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant.

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates care management plans for patients with complex health needs.
  • Provides leadership in the ongoing development of clinical practice, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with best practice standards.
  • Initiates and utilises findings of research in the provision of clinical services, promoting evidence-based practice.
  • Contributes to the development and delivery of specialty-related education programs, enhancing knowledge and skills among nursing staff.
  • Participates in formal processes for strategic and operational planning for the clinical service, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Requirements:
  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
  • Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
