Director of Energy Market Leadership

We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee the delivery of policy and regulatory initiatives that support energy consumers.
The role involves advising the senior leadership team on retail pricing, policy, and regulation, as well as representing the organisation to influence internal and external stakeholders.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality documentation, effective reporting, and communication with the executive group, senior leadership team, CEO, and board on relevant projects and organisational-wide activities.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team in a fast-paced and complex organisation.
- Substantial knowledge and experience across policy and regulatory change, stakeholder engagement, and data interpretation and management.
- Expert knowledge of Australian energy markets, understanding of the AER's role, purpose, and objectives, as well as the complex political and stakeholder environment.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
