Build Connections, Enhance Lives: Community Coordinator Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Coordinator at the Fullarton Park Community Centre.
The role offers a unique chance to be part of the Fullarton community, working with a passionate team focused on promoting community capacity building, social inclusion, participation, connection, and wellbeing.
The City is based on the city fringe, approximately 4 kilometers from the Adelaide CBD. We engage with our community through various initiatives, events, arts, sustainability, community services, and volunteering programs. Our commitment to creating a dynamic City prioritizes sustainability and enhances quality of life.
The Community Coordinator role reports to the Team Leader Community Centres and offers flexible part-time hours (28 hours per week) for a 7-month contract. Some out-of-hours work may be required. You will have the opportunity to develop and manage community-based programs and projects, aligning to organizational values.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in community development or a relevant field
- Previous leadership experience in a community service setting
- Experience in managing staff and volunteers
- Ability to provide leadership aligned to organizational values
