Job Summary

This role plays a pivotal part in delivering bespoke insurance solutions across Professional Indemnity and Management Liability.

You'll assess and underwrite complex risks, working closely with partner brokers to meet evolving customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite new and renewal Financial Lines business in line with the organization's underwriting framework and delegated authority.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers and distribution partners to support retention, growth, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Utilize digital tools and data analytics to assess risk and identify portfolio trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Contribute to process improvements and digital innovation in underwriting practices.
Qualifications
  • Experience in underwriting, ideally within Financial Lines, or a broking background in this space looking to transition into underwriting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of risk assessment, pricing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience using digital platforms and analytics to support underwriting decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage broker relationships and negotiate tailored solutions.
  • Effective collaboration across Claims, Product, and Risk Engineering teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
