Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Gas Network Technician to join our crew at our depot in Southern Maine. As a member of our frontline gas maintenance crew, you will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for delivering high-quality construction, fault response, and maintenance activities on gas mains and services throughout our distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing mains and services breakdowns, corrective maintenance, and minor construction activities.
  • Providing reliable emergency response services during regular and after-hours operations to ensure a swift and effective resolution of issues.
  • Assisting with ordering and installation of materials and quarry products as required to complete the allocated works.
  • Carrying out emergency maintenance to ensure the safe and continued supply of the distribution system.
  • Proactively and visibly promoting and driving a Zero Harm culture by adhering to the JSEAs / SQE Risk Assessments.

Requirements

  • Experience in the gas or utilities sector and operational hands-on experience in excavation, landscaping, or outdoor work are advantageous.
  • Current Construction Induction card and HR, MR or HC licence (advantageous).
