About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to work with us as an ICT Security Specialist.

You will be responsible for establishing, managing, and administering our clients' ICT security policy and procedures to ensure preventive and recovery strategies are in place, thereby minimising the risk of internal and external security threats.

You will resolve a variety of technical issues and provide systems, network & security support both remotely and on site, via phone and remote support for a range of clients across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network infrastructure management - physical and virtual
  • Server and storage administration
  • Service virtualisation
  • User and group policy/management
  • Spec and setup of multi-site infrastructure
  • Proactive monitoring and optimisation of implemented solutions
  • Data and network security

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need 3-5 years' experience in a Security Specialist and/or Systems Administration position, working with a Managed Service Provider and within a fast-paced environment. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong troubleshooting and administration abilities, and proficiency in:

  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server 2012-2019
  • DNS, DHCP
  • Office 365 administration
  • Exchange
  • VLAN, WLAN, WAN
  • VMWare ESXi and VCenter
  • Sophos and ConnectWise full product suite (highly desirable)
