Grounds Maintenance Officer

About the role:
- The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of school grounds, including mowing, watering, and soil care.
- This includes lawn and garden maintenance, as well as caring for trees, shrubs, and gardens.
- They will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment such as mowers, brush cutters, and tractors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of school ovals, including regular mowing and watering
- Lawn and garden maintenance, including weeding and use of appropriate insecticides and fertilisers
- Care and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and gardens
- Maintenance of grounds care equipment, including mowers, brush cutters, and tractors
- Arranging repairs and maintenance within the school
Requirements:
- A Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services
- Possession of a current driver's license and a clean driving record

Please note that this is an OO2 progression position, and the successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met.
