Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Officer
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the school's grounds and ensuring a safe and clean environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the school's grounds, including lawns, gardens, and sports fields
- Ensure all outdoor areas are clean and free of debris
- Assist with the removal and disposal of rubbish and waste
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and repairing equipment
- Support daily facilities operations, including opening and closing procedures
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of gardening and grounds maintenance practices
- Ability to operate various types of equipment, including lawn mowers and tractors
