About the Role
We are looking for an experienced data scientist with expertise in distributed systems and machine learning. You will be responsible for developing frameworks that enable large-scale model training on a distributed cluster.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support libraries for accelerating training on a distributed environment
- Evaluate and roll out third-party tooling for machine learning workflows, experiment evaluation, and management
- Dig into the internals of open-source ML tools to extend their capabilities and fix fundamental bugs
- Leverage experience in scheduling tools to support the effective use of contested resources across a broad research team
Requirements
- MS degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in fundamental ML frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Expertise in Python, experience in C++ is highly desired
