Senior Backend Engineer - Python Expert

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and efficient backend systems using Python.

A strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and the ability to build efficient APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask or Django is essential.

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in SQL using PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, experienced in using Python Pandas library for data analysis, and proficient in developing in both Windows and Linux environments.

Additionally, the candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment, using tools like Git, Jira, Bamboo, and Confluence.

Proficiency in AWS and Docker is also required.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for learning new technologies, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient backend systems using Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions.
  • Develop and implement unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests to ensure high-quality code.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.
