Job Title: People & Culture Coordinator

Charterhouse is seeking a highly skilled and motivated People & Culture Coordinator to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing staff training, onboarding new starters, employee engagement, organizing staff events, and coordinating recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports, analytics, and metrics to support strategic decision-making
  • Maintain records of all staff correspondence
  • Maintain company register of staff annual leave
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures as required
Employee Engagement and Culture Development:
  • Support initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture
  • Organizing internal and external events
  • Organise employee recognition programs and surveys
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies aligned with the company's values and goals
Training and Development:
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs
  • Manage soft and technical training
  • Assist in identifying training needs and support the development of tailored learning and development plans
  • Coach Client Advisors in management of their teams
Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Assist with the full recruitment cycle, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
  • Coordinate onboarding of new starters
  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming integration into the company
Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees' HR-related queries, providing timely support and guidance
  • Assist in resolving employee concerns or conflicts
Health, Safety, and Well-being:
  • Support health, safety, and well-being initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assist with the implementation of programs to promote employee well-being and work-life balance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources or a similar role, preferably within a professional services or accounting environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • High level of problem solving skills
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
