Job Summary:
- Promote and embed cancer screening resources across community programs.
- Support clients and families in navigating cancer services and palliative care pathways.
- Coordinate planning with hospitals and Aboriginal Medical Services to ensure culturally safe referrals.
- Deliver health promotion activities, yarning circles, and community education.
- Assist in developing quality improvement processes and culturally appropriate learning materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote cancer screening within the community.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support to clients and families.
- Facilitate communication between hospitals, Aboriginal Medical Services, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless referrals.

- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that reflect cultural safety and awareness.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

- Current QLD Driver's Licence, First Aid/CPR, Blue Card, and National Police Check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
