About Us

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant in Nursing to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing person-centred care under the supervision of Registered Nurses, supporting safe and compassionate care within the Division of Cancer.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team providing care to patients with cancer. As an Assistant in Nursing, you will assist Registered Nurses in delivering safe and compassionate care, support daily ward functions, and contribute to patient assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Nurses in delivering safe and high-quality care.
  • Support daily ward functions, including patient care tasks and unit duties.
  • Contribute to patient assessments and care planning.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in a relevant health or nursing field (highly regarded).
  • Ability to follow direction and contribute as a supportive member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible and willing to work across a 7-day roster, including public holidays.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on empathy, teamwork, and patient-centred care.
