Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team at Polestar Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ideating, developing and executing local content stories to drive brand awareness and relevance in the Australian market. This will include video production, photography, news articles and website landing pages.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the digital, technical and production side of marketing, with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to be flexible and adaptable in their mindset and approach.

About the Role:

  • This full-time position will support the Marketing department for Polestar in Australia, based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
  • The role will report to the Marketing Manager of Polestar in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize the company website, including ad hoc changes, SEO optimization and supporting new vehicle launches.
  • Manage CRM projects, such as customer lifecycle journeys, event communication materials and other ad-hoc projects.
  • Create and publish local content calendar materials, ensuring localization in-line with local requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Digital and Retail teams to request, create and execute front-end changes and improvements to the digital sales journey.
  • Support local marketing and PR events, including administration and assistance on site.
  • Develop a reporting structure for content, campaigns and event activity.

Requirements:

  • A degree in business, media, communication or equivalent with a focus on marketing/communication/advertising or PR, preferably with a technical perspective.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • A fascination with advertising, CRM, e-commerce and the contribution of marketing to business success.
  • Previous digital marketing experience either client or agency side.
