We work backwards from our customers' most complex problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into successful businesses. As a Business Development Specialist, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution for VMware to AWS migrations in ANZ, collaborating with teams in the field.
  • Leverage your deep expertise in virtualization software and enterprise applications migration & modernization to understand customer problems and build propositions to solve them.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive pipeline growth, conversion, and value realization for customers and partners.
  • Develop goals to drive long-term growth in your geography while meeting/exceeding revenue and non-revenue driven KPIs.
  • Bring customer data and market signals back to APJ and Worldwide teams to ensure we prioritize the right features and services for our customers.
  • Deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for your respective tech domain and geography.
  • Drive geographical scale through external partners and partner with cross-functional teams to execute customer acquisition programs and strategies.
  • Conduct customer briefings, present at customer and marketing events, and other AWS thought leadership events.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in Enterprise Applications or VMware.
