Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nursing Coordinator to join our team in facilitating organ and tissue donation.
The primary role of this position is to implement best practices in organ and tissue donation, provide education strategies and support, and understand the Donate Life death audit.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Nursing Division 1 (General)
- Post graduate qualifications in critical care or other relevant specialty
- Extensive experience in senior nursing leadership within a hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and identify, assess, and resolve problems and create outcomes
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced negotiation skills and ability to communicate appropriately in time-critical circumstances
- Ability to communicate empathically with bereaved families
- Ability to lead stakeholders to a shared goal
- Intermediate level computer skills
- Able to contribute to a 24/7 on-call rotation roster
