Medical Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled medical expert to fill the role of Surgeon within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and provide high-quality care for air and missile crews
  • Assess fitness for flying duties and living/working environments to detect potential health hazards
  • Regularly participate in flying missions to observe and advise on aeromedical matters
  • Develop and manage comprehensive preventive medicine programs, including education on healthy lifestyles for flight personnel
  • Establish procedures for managing casualties in aviation accidents and other emergencies
  • Provide guidance on aeromedical evacuation and serve on aviation mishap investigation boards
  • Act as liaison between flying squadrons and medical services
Requirements:
  • Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and have completed an ACGME- or AOA-accredited program of postgraduate specialty training
  • Be proficient in adult primary care medicine and possess completion of a primary course in aerospace medicine
  • Possess a current, active, permanent, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state or territory of the United States or in the District of Columbia
  • Hold an aeronautical rating of Flight Surgeon, Senior Flight Surgeon, or Chief Flight Surgeon
