Cinema Operations Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day activities at the cinema location, ensuring excellent customer service and a seamless movie-going experience.
  • Team Management: Collaborate with senior management to support team members, facilitate recruitment, induction, and training initiatives.
  • Financial Performance: Contribute to achieving revenue targets by analysing operating statements and daily performance reports.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years' supervisory experience in a retail or hospitality environment, with shift work involved.
  • Prior experience in managing sales figures is desirable.
  • Senior First Aid Certification, RSA, RMLV, Approved Manager Licence are mandatory.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship building, commercial acumen, and communication (both written and oral).
