About the Role

Hilton Hotels is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement company statutory and legal requirements, including fire, health and safety, hygiene, electricity at work, and all local by-laws.
  • Respond to all enquiries promptly and carry out maintenance repair work, ensuring the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn during all repairs.
  • Maintain the green areas and car parks when applicable, and follow planned preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Ensure good relationships with internal and external customers and contractors, and implement energy conservation initiatives.
  • Follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, particularly the storage of hazardous substances, and attend additional training suitable to the role.

Requirements

  • A positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service and excellent grooming standards.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations and ability to work on their own or in teams.
  • Previous maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, or painting and decorating, and relevant qualifications for the role.
