About Our Senior Clinician

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team in providing specialized clinical advice and services across several oral health facilities.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and foster open communication within the team.

  • Clinical Leadership: The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of relevant standards and processes, identifying areas for improvement and planning to resolve issues.
  • Resource Management: This role involves leading planning, resource management, and development of self and others.
  • Patient Care Coordination: The Dental Prosthetist will coordinate patient care, prioritizing needs and working with the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Built good rapport with patients and effectively prioritizes and plans own time to deliver patient care.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge, expertise, and skills in complex contemporary dental prosthetic clinical practice standards.
  • Provides clinical advice and consultation on complex clinical matters.
  • High level knowledge of legislation, standards, policies, and procedures relevant to contemporary dental practice.
  • Act as a resource for expert clinical care needs conducting education for clinical staff, patients, and their families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Dental Prosthetist qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in complex contemporary dental prosthetic clinical practice standards.
