Australian Broadcasting Corporation seeks a skilled TV News Producer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our news bulletins and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the production of news bulletins, programs, and content for digital platforms
  • Write stories, reporter and guest intros, teases, headlines, and news updates
  • Produce live crosses, graphics, and all manner of news content
  • Select and edit vision, sound bites, and long-form interviews to help tell a story

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a newsroom
  • Sound knowledge and interest in news, politics, sport, current events, and popular culture
  • Understanding of the technical and logistical challenges of television news production
  • High-level communication and time management skills
  • An ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team
  • A willingness to listen, learn, and apply constructive feedback
