The Injury Management and Return to Work (RTW) Support team plays a crucial role in delivering high-performing claims management services.
They ensure the integrity of medical information related to Comcare claims, including managing Comcare's Clinical Panel, independent medical examinations, and monitoring medical providers.
The team facilitates a network or community of practice for injury management advisors working on claims.
The Assistant Director, RTW Support leads this work, collaborating across departments and service providers.
They utilise data sources and evidence-based approaches to develop recommendations and inform continuous improvement initiatives, driving better practice.
- Contribute to the organisation's purpose, Corporate Plan, and claims management strategy.
- Drive rehabilitation and RTW practice across operations in line with the claims management strategy.
- Lead the monitoring of RTW practice across agencies and implement projects to improve rehabilitation and RTW approaches and capability.
- Work collaboratively to focus on consistent rehabilitation and RTW, positive claim outcomes, and knowledge sharing.
- Lead a small team in accordance with departmental requirements.
