About the Role

This is an autonomous position where you will be responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of nbn products and services. You'll have the opportunity to work in multiple environments, both internal and external, but predominantly inside the customer's premises.

Your typical day could include any or all of the following functions:

  • Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering, and splicing
  • Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
Responsibilities
  1. Cable installation and management
  2. Customer equipment installation and testing
  3. Troubleshooting and fault finding
Requirements

We're seeking experienced candidates with transferable skills from communication cabling or electrical backgrounds. You'll need exceptional customer service skills, honesty, and integrity. A current and clean driver's license is also required.

A large part of this role involves working in customers' premises, so strong and personable communication skills are essential. Both written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role.
