Job Title: Service Desk Officer

Description

This role is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a keen interest in IT support.

The Service Desk Officer will be the initial point of contact for all IT related support requests, providing first contact triage, diagnosis and resolution.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake a full range of Service Desk activities for the IT Services Department
  • Undertake administration and ownership of Incidents & Service Requests
  • Communicate with all stakeholders, including providing regular updates regarding incidents and service requests
  • Assist with documentation of solutions, policies and procedures and other projects as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should also have a strong understanding of IT concepts and technologies.

Familiarity with Service Desk software and systems would be an advantage.
