Electrical Systems Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing complex electrical systems for industrial machinery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge technology.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, professional engineer accreditation, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will be proficient in electrical design software, particularly EPLAN tools, and skilled in electrical component selection, cabinet design, and EMC testing.

About the Role
  • Design and develop complex electrical systems for industrial machinery
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Contribute to the development of Codesys PLC and safety PLC for selected projects
  • Maintain and improve departmental electrical design and drawing standards
  • Work closely with technical leaders to establish best practices for electrical design and machine safety
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive electrical systems documentation, including schematics and design reports
  • Implement project FAT/SAT activities
  • Report on project progress, risks, and issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or related field)
  • Professional engineer accreditation or eligibility to apply
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient with electrical design software, particularly EPLAN tools
  • Skilled in electrical component selection, cabinet design, and EMC testing
