Job Overview

The Seafood Merchandising & Training Representative plays a pivotal role in enhancing grocery store deli teams' capabilities by providing training, coaching, and in-store support.

This position ensures adherence to food safety standards, fosters customer engagement, and drives sales performance through improved product knowledge and merchandising execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver hands-on training to store managers, deli managers, and deli teams on seafood species, merchandise standards, product handling, food safety, and customer service excellence.
  • Monitor and support consistent execution of merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities in accordance with Tassal and retailer standards.
  • Analyse sales data to identify performance opportunities and implement targeted initiatives to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with store managers and deli teams to influence positive results and encourage collaboration.
  • Utilise CRM and reporting tools to document store visits, track training outcomes, and highlight sales opportunities.
