Austral Monsoon Building Products Pty Ltd (AMBP), part of the ASSA ABLOY group, is a specialist contractor to the building industry, designing, manufacturing, and installing products generally for use on building perimeters. Our product range includes proprietary fixed and operable louvres and sun shade / screening systems.

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Pricing Specialist to join our team. Based onsite, this role is responsible for pricing and winning opportunities identified on key projects. This will include summarizing, sourcing prices as required, and working with the Business Development Manager for compliance and internal product options, to ensure we have the most complete and competitive price and presentation possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and prioritize incoming pricing requests.
  • Review project tender requests, summarize the overall requirements, and determine the time and resources needed to provide accurate pricing.
  • Source any material or external pricing required to be able to put price together.
  • Prepare and present targeted project pricing to deliver a comprehensive and professional proposal to the client.
  • Quote follow-up of targeted projects by best means.
  • Pricing variations for the targeted projects for the duration of the project.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and AMBP customers to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to estimate project costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Price and present targeted project to provide the client with the most complete and professional price.
  • Pricing variations for the targeted projects for the duration of the project.
  • Continue to build relationships with key customers and influencers.

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience in an Estimator or similar role.
  • Ability to interpret and extract information from architectural plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Extensive skill in estimating building construction materials for the supply and installation of louvres and metal doors (preferred but not essential).
  • Experienced in the Commercial Building Industry.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Able to engage broadly, multi-task, and
