The Company |

We are on the lookout for a Senior Apparel Designer to join a forward-thinking fashion label known for its distinctive style and commitment to quality. This brand has established itself as a key player in the women's fashion sector, with a legacy of over 25 years in the industry.

The Position |

As a vital member of the Design team, the Senior Designer will significantly influence the creative and strategic direction of the brand's product lines. This role is centered around translating the brand's vision into innovative and trend-responsive designs, ensuring they resonate with market expectations and brand goals. Collaborating closely with the Lead Designer and fellow Designers, the Senior Designer will oversee the comprehensive design process from concept to completion.

You will create designs for seasonal collections that align with the brand's strategic vision, taking charge of crafting compelling products while ensuring they reflect global and market trends.

In partnership with the Lead Designer and Head of Product, you will work to meet retail objectives, delivering highly relevant, on-trend, and commercially viable products that embody a clear brand identity appealing to our target audience. You will also support the Lead Designer in enhancing the product ranges and nurturing the design team.

Your efforts will focus on increasing brand competitiveness, driving sales, and achieving financial targets while adhering to critical timelines and quality standards.

You are customer-oriented and commercially savvy, coordinating product ranges that enhance sales and establish your brand as a market leader. Your positive influence will support the Lead Designer and junior design team, fostering strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, negotiating favorable business outcomes, and collaborating effectively with Production and Planning to ensure the brand vision is realized in line with strategic objectives.

The Skillset |

Strong technical proficiency with the ability to communicate effectively and influence across various departments regarding production and product development. Proven capability to drive and manage change. Solid background in product design and management, adept at multitasking and demonstrating flexibility while working independently. A genuine passion for fashion, with a keen sense of trends, design, and construction. A proactive approach to problem-solving is essential. Proficient in both PC and MAC software, particularly in visual/interface design using Adobe Creative Suite. Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to set standards and execute plans, while maintaining strong prioritization and follow-through skills to meet deadlines. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, adapting to various personality styles and building robust working relationships both internally and externally. Enjoyment in refining systems and processes to enhance efficiency and increase profit margins.
