Chef Job Opening - Italian Restaurant

Our client, a well-known Italian restaurant in Eltham, Victoria, is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to lead their kitchen team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Supervise the preparation of all meals and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Manage kitchen consumables, stock takes, ordering, cost control, and budgeting.
  • Develop and introduce new menu items in consultation with the management team.
  • Participate in the hiring and training of new kitchen staff.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and Food Safety standards.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Chef who is passionate about delivering exceptional Italian cuisine.
  • Successful candidates will have at least 2-3 years of professional experience, a Diploma in Cookery or equivalent, and excellent communication skills.
  • They will be available to work across the week and weekends, including some evenings.
