Perioperative Coordinator Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced nursing leader to join our theatre team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe and quality care that meets current best practice standards;
  • Liaise with Nurse Unit Managers of the Perioperative department and wards;
  • Manage theatre staff levels and costs;
  • Understand legislative requirements, ACORN, and sterilization standards;
  • Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality/Risk management.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration;
  • Experience in a Perioperative setting;
  • Previous leadership or management experience highly regarded;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Commitment to high standard clinical and customer-focused care;
  • Proven time management and prioritisation skills;
  • Sound knowledge base in labour management.

Facility Information:

The hospital provides medical and surgical services, paediatrics, obstetrics, and cardiac care. It has 22 operating theatres and offers top-standard clinical expertise and nursing care.
