A leading global law firm is seeking a Client Audit Associate Advisor or Advisor to join its Risk and Compliance team on a 6 month FTC basis. The role involves responding to client third party risk assessments, Client Audits, and associated remediation activities globally.
The Opportunity
This position is responsible for planning, preparing, and responding to Client Audits. The successful candidate will coordinate and where applicable carry out associated remediation activities to ensure actions are completed as required.
They will work closely with the Client Audits Supervisor to assist in developing and improving the client audit process for the Firm. Additionally, they will communicate technical jargon related to information security to non-technical stakeholders and develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and respond to Client Audits
- Coordinate and where applicable carry out associated remediation activities to ensure actions are completed as required
- Work closely with the Client Audits Supervisor to assist in developing and improving the client audit process for the Firm
- Communicate technical jargon particularly related to information security to non-technical stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders on an ongoing basis
Requirements
- Notable experience and technical skills within an Auditing, Internal, External, Second-Party, or Third-Party, Compliance, Quality, Governance, or Project Management role
- Demonstrated experience in strategic decision making and negotiation skills
- Experience in discretionary decision making and working independently to solve client and technical issues with key stakeholders. Strong professional written and oral communication skills with the ability to present a position clearly to different stakeholders
- Advanced ability to manage large volumes of information in the appropriate format
- Ability to adhere to strict internal and external deadlines. Skilled in managing expectations and facilitating complex discussions
- Ability to adapt to changing environments, processes, and technology and balance fast pace of work with attention to detail
- Discrete and professional in handling sensitive and confidential situations
- Adaptable interpersonal skills able to liaise effectively at all levels across the Firm
