The role of Project Controller is a pivotal position that oversees the planning and risk management processes for complex projects. As a key stakeholder, you will collaborate with the Design Authority and Project Manager to deliver outstanding project outcomes.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience with earned value management, risk analysis, and EVM reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical and data skills with the ability to produce clear project performance reports.
  • Familiarity with project finance processes and data analytics.

A tertiary qualification in project management, finance, engineering, business administration, or a related field is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Scheduler in complex ICT delivery projects is required.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of project work breakdown structures and deliverables lists.
  • Implement and oversee project scope management processes.
  • Create and manage a resource-loaded project master schedule using Microsoft Project.
  • Conduct weekly updates, quality analysis, and performance reporting based on schedule data.
  • Identify variances between baseline and actual project metrics and manage capacity scenarios.
  • Manage the project risk management process, maintain the risk register, and ensure alignment with the master schedule.
  • Support earned value management (EVM) processes, including relevant coding and reporting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, finance, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Scheduler in complex ICT delivery projects.
