About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Psychologist to join our team at CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay. As a Graduate Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing therapeutic interventions to clients in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based vocational interventions to clients to build their confidence and skills for employment.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, community partners, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date records aligned to AHPRA best practice standards.
  • Manage referrals and client diaries to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop proposed treatment plans with clients to outline goals and objectives for service provision.
  • Provide evidence-based services in a safe and therapeutic manner.
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to support the program and delivery of therapeutic care.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology (Registered or Provisional) qualifications are required.
  • A thorough understanding of the theories relating to and the impact of trauma, abuse, and neglect on a person's development and well-being as well as carryover effects into adulthood.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Strengths-Based practices and Recovery-Oriented models.
  • Excellent group facilitation skills and the ability to clearly articulate and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Drug, Alcohol, and other addictions.
  • An understanding of the employment services industry (desirable).
  • Current APHRA registration, or willingness and capability to obtain registration. We welcome Provisional or Student registrations.
  • Current Driver's Licence (and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle).
